2. War — The Great Engine for Social Change What permanent changes in American society came as a result of WWII?

Each theme contains: Background on the issues, letters as primary sources, student analysis questions, classroom activities, web quests for students, vocabulary, and posters to download. This Teacher's Guide supports Standard 3C from the National History Standards.
